Vah Naboris Quest 4.0

Three Divine Beasts have now been reclaimed. We are ready to continue our next quest to reclaim the final Divine Beast Vah Naboris. The spirits of our four great Champions are here to guide you on your path across the Kingdom of Hyrule as you gather your resources, weapons, and sharpen your skills.

Returning Warriors...
You may choose to stay with the same team you travelled with last round, or choose a new path.

New Warriors...
It's time for you to choose your path and the Champion that will guide you.

PERKS
Each team grants a unique perk that you may use once during each round of the readathon:
Mipha’s Grace: one book on your TBR can be used to complete two challenges
Daruk’s Protection: you can partially complete one book and it will count towards a challenge (DNF after 50% OR continue a book you're already 50% of the way through prior to the readathon)
Revali's Gale: instead of drawing a Blood Moon card, read any book of your choice
Urbosa's Fury: you can swap out one challenge from your path with one from another team (any prompt except Vah Naboris)

Glider Perk: you don’t need to travel along your team’s path and complete the challenges in order, read in any order you wish
Horse Perk: you can begin the Vah Naboris quest early:
1 horse: 2 days early (13 January)
2 horses: 4 days early (11 January)
3 horses: 7 days early (8 January)

GUIDELINES
Please note these are just suggested guidelines to make things a little more interesting, the main goal is for everyone to have fun reading!

Only one book counts for one prompt (exception: Mipha’s Grace)
You should start and finish a book within the readathon to complete a challenge (exception: Daruk’s Protection)
You should follow your team’s path in order, starting from the Great Plateau and ending at Divine Beast Vah Medoh (exception: Glider Perk)
You should not re-draw a Blood Moon card (unless you happen to stumble across a Korok seed...)

🌿 Outskirt Stable: read a book with an animal companion or non-human characters

Team Daruk
🍃 Rito Village: read a book with white or grey on the cover
🌕 Blood Moon Card: randomly select a reading prompt (see Blood Moon Cards page)
🌿 Gerudo Canyon Stable: read a 'mysterious' book
🌿 Southern Oasis: read a book you were recently gifted
🍃 Divine Beast Vah Naboris: ‘EARTH’ buzzword

Team Revali
🍃 Rito Village: read a book with white or grey on the cover
🌿 Ancient Columns: read a book you meant to pick up in 2025
🌿 Satori Mountain: read a book with a mythical creature
🌕 Blood Moon Card: randomly select a reading prompt (see Blood Moon Cards page)
🍃 Divine Beast Vah Naboris: ‘EARTH’ buzzword

Team Urbosa
🍃 Rito Village: read a book with white or grey on the cover
🌿 Gerudo Highlands: read a book with a weapon on the cover
🌕 Blood Moon Card: randomly select a reading prompt (see Blood Moon Cards page)
🌿 Gerudo Town: continue or finish a series

Bonus Challenges (optional)
🍂 Sturnida Secret Hot Spring: read a new-to-you author
🍂 Great Plateau: read from a favourite author
🍂 South Lomei Labyrinth: participate in at least 1 'Fang & Bone' challenge (hosted on the Discord)
